My Secret Sauce to Thriving in a Lockdown (experience from 96 days of working from home)
Marking the start of 2021 in England — with the third lockdown
On 4 January 2021, Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the UK officially made a mark in history with an (overly optimistic 😅) announcement of the 3rd lockdown for England — “in the hopes” that these unfortunate restrictions would last (at best) till mid-February (and we would have better days ahead of us).
(UK Lockdown Update: On 27 January, the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson indicated that Ministers will launch a review into the status of the coronavirus pandemic in the week commencing February 15.
In the following week, the findings will be submitted, reviewed, and discussed. It’s likely a roadmap for a gradual return to normality would be put forward.
If the findings prove to be optimistic, schools would be re-opened in the week of March 8, 2021.)
A couple of hours earlier (on 4 January 2021), the First Minister of Scotland and the Leader of the Scottish National Party, Nicola Surgeon had made a similar announcement for a Scottish lockdown that would last for the rest of January 2021.
